Old family photos.

Early morning hikes.

Good coffee, hot or iced. Tiny nephews who sneak into

my room at 5 am.

Cats who can’t jump. Ridiculous memes.

Women on the rise. Those are just a few of the things that inspire me to make.

My professional journey started with a chance gig working for a wedding photographer. I’ve since gone on to work in video, audio, and photography for The Denver Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, SFGate, Airbnb, and StudioPod Media.

First and foremost among all the things is telling stories through video. That pursuit has left me stranded on a snowy mountaintop needing to be rescued by snowmobile and led to meeting grandmother and national hero Ruby Stein who survived—also stranded in the snow—five nights in her car with her cat Nikki. And while I love shooting video and wouldn’t have traded those experiences for the world, there is nothing like sitting down and editing. That’s where I feel most at home and closest to the magic that is storytelling.

Recently I’ve also been working to produce and host a podcast for filmmakers and video creators, forcing them to dig out and talk about the very first video they ever made. And when I’m not producing videos and audio show-and-tells, I sometimes write and design things.

Let’s work together.
